"We felt safe at this hotel. The room was super clean, the beds were comfy, and the walk-in shower was wonderful. We had a pet-friendly room. The breakfast was just Okay. The cinnamon toast slices were cold and hard, but the cooked eggs and sausage were good. We will definitely stay here again!"

"I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Barboursville for three days while on business and really enjoyed my stay. The location was great, with easy access to restaurants and shopping, especially helpful if you’re like me and always forget something at home. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The staff were consistently friendly, especially during the morning breakfast hours. Speaking of breakfast, it was better than expected for a hotel breakfast, and since it’s free, I certainly have no complaints. The staff preparing the food was very welcoming, and the coffee was actually good. Overall, this was a comfortable, convenient, and pleasant stay. I’d definitely stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Our stay here was cozy, homey, inviting, and perfect for a quiet and simple outing in the Ohio/West Virginia area.My wife and I were hoping for something within drive-able distance to Huntington and Point Pleasant while staying somewhere that had a small cabin feel (that wasn't a totally remote wilderness experience) and this place is perfect. The cabin itself was comfortable, the river lovely, location perfect for our needs, a nice accessible fire pit -- but the REAL treat was the hospitality. Chris, Rebecca and Gena were positively wonderful and as friendly as can be (and the breakfasts were glorious!).Also the adorable and mildly rotund cat that lives around here is the silliest little fella I've ever met. If this site were capable of offering more than five stars, I would do so. Simply cannot recommend highly enough."
