"We enjoyed a very comfortable stay here. Antonio helpfully arranged transport from the airport. Via Caronda was rather shabby but we never felt unsafe in the area - Via Etnea was just around the corner with buses to the city centre and a useful 24 hour coffee kiosk/bar on the corner of the square. Our room was clean and comfortable with good air-conditioning and a small fridge. The garden was lovely to sit and unwind before heading out to one of the nearby restaurants and to enjoy breakfast....

"FULL OF MOLD - DON'T STAY HERE The whole apartament is full of mold. You can smell it from the doorway. The bathroom is tiny, full of mold and rust, and the shower area doesn't have a door. Inside of the room the walls are dirty, full of scratches, and the room smells of mold. The owner has bad English skills and he scolded me regarding the hour of the breakfast (bad communication). "My stay here was beyond delightful. Staff was sooo helpful, from helping me book an airport transfer to helping me find stores and restaurants nearby. The response time was 24/7 and so fast. I can’t recommend it enough. The palazzo is BEAUTIFUL and so so so nice to just walk around and admire. Only thing is there are lots of stairs so be prepared. It wasn’t a problem for us at all though. It’s quick and easy to access the property. They also have complimentary espresso! Which is lovely for the morning before heading out to the town. "

"Our family had an amazing experience at Romano. The staff was incredible. From the front desk to the bar tender. Everyone was so kind to my family. The rooms were great. The pool was beautiful. Getting into town was easy. We miss our time at the Romano. "
