Very clean and comfortable resort, I was only there 2 nights and I saw some beautiful sunsets and sunrises along with wildlife. Look forward to visiting again.
We stayed in a villa. Beautiful view. Nice space. 100% of the staff was amazing. The buffet breakfast is probably the best I’ve ever had. Our room had a fireplace and balcony, making it very accommodating and very comfortable to just hang around. We rented a golf cart to cruise the island and to get back-and-forth between the villa and the main hotel. We also rented a pontoon boat to drive around on the lake. Great time. Can’t wait to go back.
The pool was fun! They had a dj and it was lively. The restaurant had great food too. We rented a golf cart and drove it down to margaritaville on the property and had a pool day. So much to do on the resort.
This was our first time at the Resort, and it was Labor Day weekend. The territory is spacious and lovely, though there was a bit of a downside with the pool area amenities. Unfortunately, there weren't enough sun beds for all the guests, which meant some had to sit on the ground, which isn't very comfortable. Additionally, more umbrellas would have been helpful, as there was only one umbrella per four sun beds, and everyone was moving around trying to find shade from the intense 96-degree sun. On a positive note, the lake house was nice and clean, and we enjoyed a decent breakfast to start our day.
Another thing to note is that this resort is really kid and family friendly! I'd say around 90% of the guests are families with kids. If that's not quite your scene, you might want to consider planning your stay somewhere else :)
We enjoyed staying at the Lodge and hanging out at the pool. The rooms were clean and the staff was extremely helpful. My only complaint was dining in Bullfrogs Bar & Grille. The service was horrible and the food was mediocre at best.
Beautiful location and view of lake from the room. Paths to walk, quiet places to sit by the lake. Did not take full advantage of the amenities since there for a conference, but facilities for conference were great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a wonderful buffet breakfast as Expedia rewards gave us free vouchers!
The rooms were beautiful and very clean with a nice baloney over looking the lake. The breakfast was terrific and fresh cooked with made to order omlets.
The only negative at this resort was there was no beach to go to on the lake except at Margaritville which we didn't want to go to because it is all slides witha beach and 60.00 each to go to.
La habitación, luce -old-. Poco actualizada y el sofá extra es incómodo. Tienen un aroma a humedad. Costo beneficio, lo volveríamos a pensar.
Lanier Island is beautiful. The Legacy Lodge is okay, we wouldn't go back. The toilet in our room took 5-6 flushes to clear even liquid waste. We notified the Cleaner, but it was not fixed. The floor in our room was seeping water right next to the bed. I asked the Cleaner if she could please mop it, thinking she missed it. I watched her mop it as we waited to leave and when we came back it was wet again. That's when I realized it was coming up from under the flooring. The next morning it was quite wet. The property over all needs refurbishing. The "patio" área off the room leaves a lot to be desired. Very pricy for the accommodations. Also, the shuttle driver seemed put out and not friendly. The wait staff at Bullfrog was excellent and very friendly!
On arrival the room sink was stopped up and it was not any trash bag in the room. On the second day that resort lost power but the resort manager Gloria was amazing and tried her best to accommodate me.
