"Casa Do Loureiro was spacious, very clean, and very well decorated. It was comfortable, and included a third floor outdoor balcony with a view of the Atlantic and surrounding neighborhood. There were a couple of bus stops within blocks of the apartment, making it relatively easy to make to downtown Funchal (a 20-minute ride).Beyond the property, the host (Clara, an artist) was outstanding... very considerate, responsive, and professional. Communication with (We Host Maderia) Carlota prior to arrival was very helpful and appreciated too. Some specific info of house number/description in directions to help with expecting the steep approach and finding the accommodation for new arrivals to the island in a hire car.
