"Staff was very helpful. Food was good. Property was a little dated and overall could do with some upgrades. Our curtains didn’t cover the entire window so room was light all night long. 2 of 3 lamps in the room as well as an extension cord didn’t work so there was limited opportunities to charge phone etc. ."

"The owners greet you, are very friendly and help make your stay memorable. The breakfast is very good. They made waffles and Omelets if you desired in addition to standard breakfast buffet. There are few local restaurants for dinner in Vangsnes but we ate across the Fjord in Balestrand which is very convenient. The Ferries run regularly to accommodate."

"Best property in the area. Family owned and operated for generations. We went on a private fjord cruise with Vhagar and it was excellent. Parking is tight because it is popular, but we eventually found a spot"

"Location is good! Bathroom was too small. No toiletries. Only Hand wash was available. Breakfast was good. They provided fresh ginger shots and smoothie. It was excellent. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. There was a grocery store right opposite to the hotel."
