"The Yurt is right on the creek you can listen while your sitting out side on the rockers on the porch plus seeing nature too the hot tub looked awesome but never got around to use it will be back "

"This house was perfect for a weekend with friends. The kitchen is well equipped. The dining room easily seats eight (or ten cozy). The bed rooms are private and spacious. Best of all is the VIEW - It is awesome! The host was a great communicator. We enjoued the hot tub and the great room is nice. Everyone enjoyed the place and after a weekend together on Groundhog Mtn our friendships were enriched."

"Star gazing & wine tasting was amazing! Staff extremely helpful. Excellent food. Check into the activities available for each day of your stay BEFORE you get there. Book early since the number of people for each activity can be limited. Some activities only available certain days."

"Everything that you needed to stay comfortably at a cabin! Stunning views and Fairy Stone State Park was less than 10 minutes away. Property bed could have improvements but overall everything was impeccable! The dishes were very cabin decor which made the vibe cool! "

"Was travelling on Blue Ridge Parkway and spent the day hiking in the Rock Castle Gorge. Floyd is closest town to the Gorge. Hotel Floyd is amazingly modern and clean hotel in a very small and charming hamlet of VA."

"The view was stunningly beautiful- I can tell it would be anytime of the year. Check in and out was smooth, host was proactive and accommodating. Basic supplies were there in both bath and kitchen-even some games. "

"Due to a major winter storm that hit this area, we were not able to make this trip. I reached out to the property owner at the beginning of the week to see if they would work with us to reschedule for another weekend, as my husband and I were excited to stay at this property. I was told that they were booked up, which in reviewing their calendar.....that was not the fact. I never once asked for my money back, just to reschedule. Property owner stated that they need to adhere to cancellation policy and we could schedule another reservation for another weekend and they could provide a discount rate. SO I was being asked to pay rent this property twice.....so unprofessional.While I understand rules must be followed, I was very dissatisfied and felt that I was lied when I was told all other weekends were taken. In fact, I know that the owner COULD HAVE worked with me to change this to another weekend. I have a family member who also uses VRBO for his properties and has done this for rentors before. If you chooses to stay at this property or other properties owned by this person, be mindful that if unforeseen circumstances happen, they are not willing to work with you."

"Host communication was not great. There was no working wifi, which i repeatedly reached out to the host about. Her response was that it should be working, which i sent reports clearly showing it wasnt. My daughter also left her head phones at the house. I asked the host to see if the cleaner found them and she just gave me the cleaners phone number to contact, which is fine. The cleaner found them and still has not sent them. I reached out to the host again to ask if she could contact the cleaner since she works for her, and her response was for me to reach out to her directly. Overall the house is fine, no complaints. My issue is with the host communication and I could careless atitude. "
