「My spouse and I stayed at Julie’s quaint and cozy little cabin during Geodefest in nearby Keokuk. We also took an afternoon to explore Nauvoo. The location off the highway made for easy and short trips to both locations. 「We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe.」

「WE loved the old Victorian style home. Spaces to gather in, a large, furnished kitchen with all the comforts of home. Bathrooms were big, clean & furnished with the essentials. Decor was wonderful with the woodwork & stain glass & color scheme. Wi-Fi was available with a large TV. easy locking system. Suggestion: could use a screen back door to keep the flies out when coming in & out. I know it's still being renovated, so next time I'll be excited to see the changes. I didn't need earplugs...
