An interesting sleepy little town. Likely pretty busy from time to time when there are rodeos and the likes. They had a great fair across the river when we stayed there.
Italian restaurant downtown in Pierre was outstanding- La Minestra.
Pierre SD - across the river has several very interesting tourist attractions. #1 South Dakota Cultural Heritage Center.
just passing through
I had a very good impression of Fort Pierre from our stops at local restaurants and convenience stores - folks were nice everywhere we went!
