Fort Montego

The resort is currently under construction, so it isn't completely open for all walkable areas. Overall, it was still a beautiful place to vacation. They didn't mention when it would be complete with its renovations. Most pools are completely open, the beach is accessible and the amenities can still be used. The resorts restaurants aren't open every night at this time but there is one open every night for dinner reservations.

Lady who identified herself as expedia concierege was very friendly and accomodating from the initial encounter at the checking in process.She checked in on us to see how we were enjoying our stay. Staff at the pannini grill ignored guests who were waiting and prepared orders for guests that she was familiar with. SEVERAL guests complained and when I chimed in to point out that I was waiting before others, she rudely hummed and sang while muttering under her breath. Room was outdated and iron board was stained and dirty. There was no blowdryer in the bathroom. Room service was good and the wait was not very long. Food and amenties were ok. Definitely not worth the price that I paid. I've had nicer, cleaner rooms at budget motels.
