Red Sunset Sanctuary - Newly Built House In Secluded Area With Private Heated Pool
FLEXIBLE 4th of JULY dates to accommodate the SATURDAY holiday this year and avoid traveling on the 4th!! Play with the dates for an option that fits :)
Please note: This property is a peaceful sanctuary located in a private and quiet residential community, and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Thank you for respecting your neighbors, keeping the noise down and not having any parties.
Welcome to the Red Sunset Sanctuary! This private oasis of tranquility is secluded on a large lot on a highly desirable West end of the island. Two of the four bedrooms are ensuite primary bedrooms, one on each floor. The other two bedrooms have full bathrooms right across the hall. The main floor features a large screened in porch with access from one of the primary suites and the hallway. The upstairs features two additional bedrooms and a second living area that flows into an open-air deck with views of the Folly River.
The moment you pull down the drive, you will be enveloped in nature. Red Sunset Sanctuary will treat you to a natural refuge, only one block away from the beach, a delightfully open concept for living and dining, a chef's kitchen with a gas range, a large island, hardwood floors, and an area for outdoor entertainment. The well-thought-out exterior area features a beautiful private pool, lounge deck, and firepit overlooking the beautiful, rare, serene marsh sanctuary setting. Multiple patios, including one screened, offer stunning views and plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy.
With a short walk to the beach and Sunset Cay Marina/Bar, this private paradise will satisfy your family's beach soul!
The Space
Bedroom 1 (downstairs): King, private bathroom, TV, access to screened back deck
Bedroom 2 (downstairs): Queen, hall bath, TV, hallway access to screened back deck
Bedroom 3 (upstairs): King, ensuite, soaking tub, TV
Bedroom 4 (upstairs): King, hall bath, TV Living (downstairs) plenty of seating, TV, beautiful views outside the windows and double doors
Living (upstairs) Twin Murphy style bunk beds, TV, small fridge, sectional couch, access to upstairs deck

Notes
During your stay you will enjoy the following amenities:
Complimentary High-Speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, washer and dryer, private pool, private outdoor shower, outdoor grill, fire pit, high thread count linens & towels (minus beach towels), a fully equipped kitchen with an additional kitchenette upstairs and a welcome kit for kitchen and bathrooms (including paper products). We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
This property is 15 miles to Downtown Charleston and 23 miles to Charleston Airport. There is plenty of parking both in the driveway and under the house.
You must be at least 25 Years old to rent this home and this is a non-smoking property.
Pool Notice:
The pool can be heated upon request for an additional fee of $50.00/day (added to your reservation after booking). This option is available from the beginning of October to the end of April. If not requested at the time of booking, this option must be requested and paid for at least two days in advance. Pool heat can only be requested for the entire length or remainder of your stay. If you would like to add this option, do so when making your reservation or contact us during office hours.
**Please note that the pool does not get higher than 75 degrees during the colder months from mid-December through February/mid-March. Also, the pool temperature will be affected by the weather, and freezing weather may keep the pool from reaching even 75 degrees. we cannot guarantee a specific temperature for any day of your stay. No refunds will be given if weather conditions prevent your pool use. The pool heater thermostat will be set to 82-84 degrees F.
Contactless Check-In: This home offers a keyless entry system, and we will provide the code before your arrival date. Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
Folly Beach has a noise ordinance starting at 10PM that applies to private residences. Please be mindful of your neighbors. House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
No pets allowed. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are not allowed in properties unless specifically designated in writing as “pets considered” and approved by our office.
A 50% payment is required at the time of booking, with the remaining 50% automatically charged to the card on file 30 days prior to your check-in date. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require a full payment at the time of booking.
MyOceanRental strives to ensure peace for all our guests, neighbors, and the community of Folly Beach. To comply with Folly Beach's new strict noise ordinance, we now use noise sensors in our properties. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels, is 100% privacy compliant, and does NOT listen or record. If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for Folly Beach, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the Folly Beach police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license.
We are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable. However, the occupancy can only be at most ten people at any time during your stay. If the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund.
