Welcome to Pleasant Edge! This premier oceanfront home with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms is a repeat guest favorite! Each bedroom has an ocean view so you can wake up to be greeted by the sunrise in the morning and the peaceful surf can be the last thing you see at night. Sip a cool beverage and feel the sea breeze on the screen porch. Use your private, direct beach access to have your toes in the sand.
All gathering areas flow together in an open floor plan. Watch your favorite shows after a long beach day in the comfortable living room with plenty of seating. Serve family meals at the dining table for 8 with overflow kitchen counter seating for 3 additional guests. Kitchen has ample storage, stainless steel appliances, and is fully stocked to easily cook meals for your whole group. Half bathroom conveniently located off the living area. Head out onto the screen porch or the sun deck to watch the waves and everyone playing on the beach.
Bedroom 1 on the first floor is a queen master suite with direct access to the screen porch and a TV. Large master bathroom has a double vanity, garden tub, and walk-in shower. Access the 3 other bedrooms on the 2nd floor. 2 Double beds sleep 4 guests in bedroom 2. Jack and jill full bathroom connects bedroom 2 and 3. Bedroom 3 includes a queen bed and TV. Bedroom 4 is a large room with a queen bed, sitting nook, and access to a full bathroom. This 3rd bathroom also opens up to the loft area. Kids have their own little retreat in the 2nd floor loft with bean bags and a TV. All beds are made with fresh, high quality linens. Bath towel sets are provided for each guest for the maximum occupancy of the home.
Grill out on the gas grill. Rinse the sand off in the outdoor shower. Parking for up to 5 vehicles is free in the double driveway area. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly.
Go into the Folly Beach downtown area, just 1.2 miles away, to wander through local shops, markets (seasonal & holidays), listen to live entertainment, and eat at one of our local restaurants. All restaurants and shops are open year-round. Get out on the water to take a fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling, or dolphin watching tour from a licensed guide. Surfing lessons are available through several companies and instructors. Find the local and tourist favorite, the Morris Island Lighthouse beach at the far east end of the island for wow-worthy photos!
Just a short, 25 minute drive will take you into historical, downtown Charleston to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer. Experience world-class dining, art galleries, explore swanky boutiques, souvenir shopping along The Market, harbor views from The Battery and Waterfront Park, theater, comedy clubs, museums, grand churches, history, carriage and ghost tours, plus so much more! This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay.
Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes.
