"This is a lovely house; it is superbly equipped and maintained and it has a great garden, full of evening sunshine. Everything about the accommodation was excellent, and we are really grateful to have been able to stay here. The village also offers exceptional activities. The internet said that the hotel had 24hr reception but it is only open for limited hours and closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. "They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. It was clearly a scam — no one was there, and it appears they’re just taking money from people. This is unacceptable and very poor service. I strongly advise others not to trust them."
