It is a lovingly renovated spacious stone cottage full of character and interest set into the side of a hill with breathtaking views of the valley and mountains surrounding it. "We had a lovely stay, it was so peaceful at the accommodation but within driving distance of so many amazing towns. We did an amazing drive to Orvietto through the countryside and passed an amazing lake. We also enjoyed Marmore waterfalls and Lake Piediluco, a stunning village with boats and even a beach with deckchairs. Communication with the hosts was all on what’s app which made life very easy."

"During a difficult time of travel, the owner of the property made our stay stress free and easy. The owners were exceptionally responsive and helpful in our planning for our visit next year. "Paolo the host met us in the village and took us up to some steep roads to the appartment which has super outlook. "Our stay at Borgo della Marmotta was amazing. The staff across the hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly, the food was excellent and affordable, and the property and rooms were tastefully decorated and kept spotless. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Renting a car is highly advisable, as transport links are poor and hard to navigate. "
