Perfect place to stay

Terrific stay. Everything clean, comfortable, and quiet. Free breakfast every day. Free gym at off-site location (Beyond Gym), <5min walk away. Not the fanciest, but will have everything you need.

Attention to detail is well established

Excellent stay, amazing reception staff, very accommodating, even set us up with a continental breakfast in our room for a 3am departure to the Airport!! Outstanding! And also arranged shuttle to airport. From arrival in the guest area to our departure they hit the mark!

This was a great property to stay at. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. The only reason I did not rate it with 5 stars is that our room card stopped working 2-3 times, which caused us to return to the service desk to get it reset, so we could get back into our room. Other than this, great hotel!

Everything was perfect from arrival to checkout. For a small-to-medium sized hotel, the property was well-appointed in the public spaces and the private room. We had the very confortable Queen room with a balcony and a separate living room area with sofa, tv and small fridge. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied for many tastes. The staff was polite and helpful. It is conveniently located in downtown Florianópolis-SC, Brasil, near cafés, shopping, pharmacies, supermarkets and restaurants. It shows as indicated in the internet photos. There were no surprises. Highly recommend.

Hotel Porta da Ilha was very clean and comfortable. Shower and water pressure was good, and the shower was easy to use. Breakfast came with the room and included fresh fruit, juices, rolls, and egg dishes. Room service was provided every night of the week from 6-9pm, except Saturday. The room included a small mini-bar. The staff was courteous and helpful, always available with a smile. Laundry service was not provided even when I placed items in the laundry bag.

Good location close to supermarket and plenty of dining options. Wood floors with no rugs or similar was a bit odd but weather was cool so wearing socks inside was ok. I emailed them 3 times in both English and Portuguese prior to arriving to request early check in but no response. Made contact thru Expedia- was told early check in arranged but on arrival this was not the case. Not sure if Expedia or hotel at fault. Luckily room was available for early check in - at a small fee. Overall pleasant stay - room service food very nice and reasonable prices. I’d stay there again.

The hotel manager, was not a manager. He intentional provided mislesding information about amenities. There was much disturbances noise other isdurs inside the toel. Hos sokution was to wxcyse the issues with unrationsl excuses, rufuse to tske action yo address the issues. I stayed in thd hotel 6 weeks. He tried yo stick me on a room I did not book or a lesserwi did not pay for reasoning there were no rooms available when I returned to the hotel after a brief leaving gor 5 nights. Aftet indisiting ai reserved and paid for a suprior double toom. He thrn saud I had to wsit till thr next day for my room.accomdation B

Room service only between 6pm and 9pm! And it is advertised as 24/7 I changed hotels because this one was advertised as a 24/7 room service Staff was ok, but the facilities are 3 star at best. I asked for the best view and got something pretty disappointing If you have to do business in the city center then book in advance
