The place is very central and we had a flexible check-in. It helped a lot with our late arrival. It is quite and very clean. We used it for your city tour in Florence and having the center in walkable distance was great.

Very Good Experience

Our suite was very roomy and comfortable. As expected in Europe elevators are old and very cozy but work fine. We were pretty central to get to see the Duomo and the rest of the city. Special thanks to Irina who was very attentive to ensure our stay way good. She is a very kind person who works very hard. Vera was also extremely helpful ensuring we had a taxi to get us to the train station on time thank you!!!

Very lovely stay and beautiful team, the room was always comfortable and clean. Breakfast was always on time & served with a smile. There was a lot of construction out the side of the property which may be good to note for future visitors as we got a little lost at check in! Would stay again!

The property was easy to find if you know what to look for. They communicated well. We had a problem with the shower getting water all over the floor which evidently was a known issue that the owner was going to deal with. So we had to minimize showers which isn’t fun. It was a quiet location away from the crazy of city center. The lady that cleaned and served breakfast was the highlight. She was wonderful and did her best to communicate with me even thought she can’t speak to much English. We do wish the breakfast was a bit more but it was ok.

I would not recommend staying at this property. Positive I would say about it was we did like our room. For starters there is no welcome desk to assist you with your stay In Florence. The directions do not give you enough information when you arrive to the facility. You will arrive and there is a locked gate with a very small sign on it that says Lorna suites. Once you buzz the gate and it opens you walk into a dark stairwell not knowing where you’re supposed to even go. This building has residents who live in it. The top two floors are the Lorena suites which is four and five. There is a very small elevator that fits two people that will take you up there. Be sure to close the door because you will reap havoc from the facility manager. The facility manager and the housekeeper speak very little broken English. Communication is very demanding. Anytime something is not right. You will get via WhatsApp messages from the manager in bold print, not very nice. She is very aggressive. They insist that you leave your room so it can be cleaned. That means from 10:45 to 1 PM they do not want you in the room . If you try to skip the room cleaning, you still get interrupted to give your trash to them. They will only give you one towel and one washcloth and one hand towel daily. You will have to pay a five euros per day per stay for city taxes. Also, when we booked our room, it was suppose to include breakfast. It does not! They do offer breakfast for €16 per day per person plus tax.

Säng hård som sten + bra utsikt

Utöver att sängen var så hård att vi båda hade ont i höfter och axlar så fanns det inget riktigt täcke, bara ett stort lakan som vi fick dela på. I övrigt hade det varit trevligare om det var välhållet, men tyvärr inte. Utsikten är däremot fantastisk.

Jeg havde et godt ophold. Jeg rejste alene og følte mig meget tryg. Dog havde jeg lidt problemer ved indcheckning, da bygningen er meget dårligt skiltet udefra, den er nem at misse og personalet talte ikke et ord engelsk, så det var list bøvlet. Ellers var alt fint, personalet var venlige, renligheden var i top og morgenmaden var god. Beliggenheden kunne godt være lidt bedre.

Spacious and comfortable room near city center

Everything was simply perfect! Staff was very nice, kind and helpful. Room&bathroom: spacious and clean, with balcony. Breakfast delicious, on order one day in advance. Location approx. 15 minutes by walk to city center/Santa Maria cathedral, parking on the street (08:00-20:00 working days 1,5 Euro per hour).

Great service and comfortable place

Really nice stay at this B&B, rooms are renovated and very comfortable. Breakfast is also a really nice treat! Staff is very nice and very good and efficient service. They were very quick in replying a number of different things. A downside is the lack of a person staying there all the time, but as I mentioned they were very thoughtful in all my questions and requests. Location is ok, a bit far from the city center but still walking distance.
