Staff here was very nice. It is not walkable to downtown Inverness but if you have a car it works well. Good breakfast options and room was nice size. We stayed in the new building, only complaint was that there was a green safety light above the window that shown brightly the entire night and kept us both up. UGH!

The staff at the Culloden House could not have been more helpful - from arrival, to meal service and through departure. We were a party of five and occupied three rooms - which they expertly assigned to us in close proximity The Hotel is an antique but the interiors are fabulous, bathrooms are modern and the maintenance is top notch. There is no sacrifice of comfort to preserve the antiques. The quality of foods and beverrages are on par with the quality of the Hotel. We knew our 5:00 a.m....

Everything about our stay was outstanding. If I could give Heather a10++++++, I would. The unit was immaculate. Very well equipped kitchen, very comfortable living room. Bed and bed sheets were superb. 10 min drive from town in a wonderful neighborhood. We walked down the hill to the grocery store. Just our best stay on our 4 week stay in Ireland/Scotland.

The view from the breakfast room was beautiful! Sheep and green pastures. The breakfast was lovely--scones, eggs, pastries, etc tea, coffee, juice. Well stocked. Clean rooms, easy parking. We definitely recommend this place and we would book again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Highland Bear Lodge. Very easy to find using the instructions found on their website. We took the opportunity to book the outdoor jacuzzi and it was well worth it, with beautiful views over the valley and lots of wildlife to spot.
The facilities were to the highest standard, and Mark and Rachel were most helpful with some great suggestions on where to go and what to see. We took their suggestions to see Dunrobin castle, Culloden moore and the nearby pictish...

I was a little worried when I pulled into the car park but the room was wonderful. Very spacious. A few stains on the sofa but nothing disgusting. Actually was the best night sleep I have had in 10 days! Very quiet. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Only downside was the number of stairs to get to my room. The staff offered to help get my luggage upstairs though. Not suitable for limited mobility.

Cleanest room I’ve stayed in during my over seas traveling! There is no elevator or air conditioning. You’ll have to go up two or three short flights of stairs. They had a fan in the room and I brought a tiny desk one with me which was more than enough. The walls are thin but guests were mindful. We had a beautiful view of the hillside and got to see northern lights. The shop was great, the people running it were very nice. Breakfast and dinner at the cafe was great. Try the toffee cake with ice...
