「Beautiful location in Kangaroo Valley for a weekend getaway (only 1hr from Campbelltown) Large 3 bedroom, fully self contained, spacious cottage with great amenities and some antique treasures. Fireplace was cosy and comforting on a cold night. Close to local Friendly grocer and some lovely restaurants/cafes (2min drive) and only roughly 30mins to Bowral and Moss Vale. Large quiet, tranquil property to unwind from city stress. Definitely would consider returning in the future. Kids where...

「We had a good stay and the house is large and set in greenery. However we found that the house is quite dark. The photos on the site represent the house with all electrical lights on so if you would like a house with natural light that is quite disappointing. I found the check in check out easy and the agency looking after the rental is very responsive. However one of the beds (office sofa bed) was not made for us and we had to make it ourselves. It’s a small thing and it does say in the...

「Fantastic place to stay」

「There was no reception and no wifi available despite what the listing says. We had to book another place as I needed to check into work. Owner was very dismissive of the problem Also he sent us the wrong pin so sent us on a 30 minute round trip. Spider webs and hair were in the shower/bedroom and there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Couldn’t open the window as so many spiders just outside the window 」

「We had such a wonderful stay at the Retreat. It is a beautiful cottage with everything you need. Cosy and well appointed with gorgeous bedding and a kitchenette. The garden is full with f quaint touches and plenty of birdlife. Close to Bundanoon Pub where we met friends for lunch. Lovely hosts. Perfect weekend.」

「The property surroundings and outdoor area were seriously in need of some care. The house was clean inside」

「Great location, nice and clean with well stocked kitchen. Great heating and children enjoyed playing in enclosed veranda room. Plenty of room for extended family. One down side were all double beds were awful!!! We like a firm bed but it was like sleeping on a board. I would need confirmation that the mattresses had been replaced before I rebooked. Shame as everything else was great.」

「This property is quite dated and could use a good TLC such as removing cob webs around the house and the outdoor setting as an example. It felt it had not be used for some time.Unfortunately, the agency "HOLIDAY RENTAL SPECIALISTS' that rented the property, bombarded us with emails and messages after we booked. We had over 13 emails and 7 messages, even whilst we were at the property, beyond messages of checkin and check out. We found it quite intrusive. When asked if they could post back a...

「This is a beautiful property. Having multiple lounge areas was great as even with 7 of us it was easy to find a quiet space. The bathrooms were really clean and modern and the underfloor heating in them was great. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the gardens were really beautiful.」
