「Fabulous hotel. Friendly staff and wonderful position. We had a gorgeous room over looking the estuary. Couldn't fault anything. My husband collapsed in Salcombe and everyone at the hotel was very helpful, particularly members of the public who came to my husbands aid. I did thank the people that helped us but not having anyone's telephone numbers was not able to thank them properly. It was so appreciated. We had to go home so didn't get to enjoy the hotel as we would have liked. Thank you...

「Lovely Hotel in a great location. The views are stunning, the hotel is located directly on the beach. Our signature room was amazing, very clean, large bathroom, water bottles replaced every day and every amenity necessary. Restaurant was fabulous, with a great , varied menu. Very friendly staff, and a well kept, clean beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel.」

「The house is large, bright and well appointed with modern bathrooms. It has a patio within the complex but no view although there is a communal bench outside with a lovely estuary view which we used frequently. It only has electric storage heaters which were impossible to work out hence the house was cold at times. The allocated numbered car park space within the complex is on a slope and a dip so was totally unsuitable for our low car, scraped the front. We used a different space as it was...

「Air conditioning in the room did not work Bit poor as we were in a mini heatwave. Could not use our room from 3pm as it was only just starting to be deep cleaned after having a dog in the room. On the evening we had to wait for two hours for food. Not told that when we ordered. The place was just short staffed and it showed. My partner was told by the manager that our meals would be compensated due to really poor service and presentation. That hasn't happened. The next morning was better....

「This was our second stay at Fowlescombe Farm and it only reinforced our view that it is one of the most special places to stay in the UK. This time we stayed in the Pond Suite, which was every bit as beautifully designed and comfortable as our previous accommodation, with lovely views across the surrounding countryside. Being one of just three rooms within the Farmhouse, we particularly enjoyed having direct access to the spacious, well-equipped kitchen and the cosy lounge areas...
