"If you want to stay at a hotel that has no reception checkin, you have to speak to someone by phone, no tea/coffee/kettle or curtains, no soap in the shower, no transport to train station and takes 2 hours (but its only 8miles)to get to the centre of Basel and no employees present after 9pm then this is the hotel for you."

"The room was large and comfortable, and the staff were warm and professional. We had dinner at the restaurant for two nights, which was characterized by excellent service. A bonus was the small pool on the property that cooled us off in the 38°C heat."

"Only one night but loved it. I arrived late from Italy to Zurich to Basel to Lörrach and was so worried when the door was locked after hours. But I rang the bell and a key came out of the box. Finally a night manager came to help me bring in my luggage and I had an amazing sleep after a long day of travel. The breakfast was delicious. Scrambled eggs and croissants and coffee. I wish I could have stayed another night but they’re booked so I moved a couple blocks over to Hotel Stadt."

"This is a modern hotel, with excellent location. Excellent desk service and the breakfast is indeed something special. Fresh and beatiful bread offerings with outstanding options for a breakfast in every way possible. Walking is possible to just about the whole core of Lörrach. Also, the breakast person does everything to make it the highlight of the day!!"
