"We had a really nice stay, and the staff were excellent, as was the food. Our room was in the oldest part of the Grade 2 listed building so there were some low doorframes & plenty of stairs, but I would stay here again & it's in an excellent location (with off-street parking) for exploring the area."

"A wonderful place to stay. A fantastic old building with so much character and lovely country views. Bedrooms very comfortable with great attention to detail and well thought through. Excellent breakfast and a good menu for dinner - well presented and very tasty. The highlight though were the staff throughout. "On arrival we were greeted by the 2 staff on duty and after a short wait (because we arrived early and a room change) we were shown to the room and the breakfast was explained to us as was the after hours procedure.
