Excellent stay at a traditional styled Inn with neat, immaculate and aptly named well appointed rooms. Everything you need for a short stay, super helpful staff and a great atmosphere where we were welcomed openly and served good food. Great location for access into Bath, racecourse etc. plenty of parking and separate access to accommodation if you’re arriving later and not wishing to eat etc. We hope to return to Bath and we would 100% book The Charlcombe Inn again.

We had a fantastic stay here in one of the new deluxe rooms. The room was incredibly comfortable, very well furnished and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of hot dishes (special praise for the eggs benedict) alongside fruit juices, pastries, yogurt etc. We also had an evening meal in the pub which was again very nice. The pub is conveniently located a few minutes from the Bath park and ride. We'd certainly stay here again if we return to visit Bath.

We stayed in the Woolley and loved the room, it was comfortable and characterful. Both the full english and vegan breakfasts were excellent! We really enjoyed the scrambled eggs too! We look forward to staying there again, the next time we are in Bath!

A lovely stay just outside Bath The hotel looks stunning from the outside, especially in the evening when the façade and grounds are beautifully lit up. A real plus is the layout: the guest rooms are situated in a separate building away from the main bar and dining area, which meant our stay was peaceful and free from pub noise. Our room was surprisingly spacious, bright, and well equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The location worked out brilliantly for us as well. Being just on the outskirts of Bath rather than right in the centre made logistics very easy, while still allowing quick and convenient access to all the main sights. Overall, we were very pleased with our time here and would happily recommend it.

The inn was beautiful. The location is perfect. It is right outside Bath, next to the horse racecourse. The room was nearly brand new which was both good and bad. The good was it was spotless and well maintained. The bad was the radiator wasn’t working the first night so my son was shivering all night. Im not going to knock the rating down because the staff tried their best to fix it. The breakfast was delicious. We loved every dish. We also ate dinner there twice and had a lovely meal. We will definitely be back.
