"We were here for just two nights but we had a very pleasant experience! The rooms were very nice for a rustic lake atmosphere. Beds were comfortable and they set out a nice breakfast every day. The on site restaurant was awesome too! Kayaks were complementary. Location is perfect between Inlet and Old Forge."

"Beautiful location with lake view and access. Cabin is cute with a woodsy yard and Adirondack style furniture. We enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoor fire pit. Close to town. Some work needs to be done on the exterior ( painting and staining). Indoors, property needs cleaning in the closets where we found mouse excrement."

"Different review mentioned the AC upstairs needs to be cleaned of mold - agree. We refused to turn it on. At the least, center light fixture needs a FAN installed. Only complaint. Didn't ruin our great time there. Beautiful deck, location was perfect, amenities were plentiful, very spacious rooms, everything was fully explained (notes) or if not - host was always available thru text. We are definitely keeping it on our "SAVED" list!! * not handicap friendly .. no bedroom access for wheelchair, cane/walker have a flight and half of narrow stairs. Good railing system. Small walk-in shower unit."

"The owner was an excellent communicator which made the arrival and departure run smoothly. The house had good parking for 2 cars and was in a great location making it easy to go back and forth to town. There was so much to keep our 5 and 7 year old grandkids busy all week. The beds were very comfortable- only 2 bedrooms had dressers so it was a slight inconvenience to not have drawer space for clothes."

"Pros: Beautiful home, ample space for our party of eight. Well stocked kitchen, including appliances. Lots of seating area in main room (although the cushions could use more support in areas). Washer/dryer was finicky sometimes, but did the job. Location is great as far as the proximity to Old Forge shopping and Enchanted Forest. Ample parking.Cons: Only one burner worked on the three burner grill. Fire pit wasn't clean: cigarette butts and other trash were in the pit. Photos are misleading in terms of how close the home is located to Route 28. You will hear the traffic (we were there in the summer - perhaps not so much of an issue during the winter months). Communication with building manager was challenging. Beach access is not close to the home, and is small."

"We absolutely loved this cabin, cozy, clean, very comfortable.. easy to find, the location is amazing. Close to inlet, eagle bay, old forge, lots of close hiking restaurants, lakes, and still when u go home, its like you are far away from everything, Quiet area, lots of stars and nature. The area was quiet enough to walk my dogs on the street , they love walks so we did that early and then took them wherever we headed that day! Communication with the host was excellent, any questions I had , they got back to me soon! We really loved the space at this cabin, it was very nice inside and very well taken care of, we alo loved all the books and the character of the home, thank you!"
