「After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues」

「We really enjoyed our stay at Thimblewynd from Aug 09 - 24 and would recommend cottage to others. Cottage was ideally suited for two of us. Loved the character of the house combined with the modern amenities i.e. updated upstairs bathroom. We loved the location in Dunning with a short walk to local Nisa store that had a great selection of items, and the lovely Kirkstyle pub just down the road. 「WiFi advertised, but there was none. Pee stains on one toilet. Skid mark in the other toilet. Outside refuse bin full to overflowing. Tried to call and text contact no provided - no reply. Other than that caravan was reasonably comfortable. 」

「Our party was two married couples all about 60 years old staying one night. We found the space clean, well stocked with a small grocery store close by. The owner was easy to communicate with and provided excellent information. Renters do need to be aware of the loft bedroom access via pull down ladder as some might find it challenging. However, we did not and would stay there again.」

「Barn was lovely. Very clean had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. Hosts were lovely and provided amazing welcome back for us. Location was lovely and peaceful. Lots DVD books games and blankets in the barn. Had lovely fire although weather was mild so we didnt need to use. Would highly recommend」

「Excellent, pristine accommodation with all the extra added touches and more. Located next to the owners own home whom were not intrusive. The garden is welcoming with the added benefits of seeing the two resident horses in the adjacent field. You may be welcomed by two wee black cats whom can curl up on the porch, an animal lovers dream. Cathy is an excellent host whom responds quickly to any queries. "聖ジャイルズ教会の真ん前、ロイヤルマイルもエディンバラ城もすぐそこ。ウェイバリー駅も近くという高立地。日本のカプセルホテルから着想を得たとのことで確かにそれっぽい。カーテン閉めてしまえばそこはもう個人の空間。観光地ど真ん中なので外からの音はめっちゃ入ってくるものの、それはホテルでも一緒かな。部屋の中は皆静かに使用してました。共有のシャワーは浴びる所と荷物置き場との間に壁がないので、着替えや貴重品等が濡れない様に袋は必須。ビーサンなど濡れに強い履き物必須。水圧と温度に問題がなかったので大満足。洗濯機と乾燥機があるのが何よりありがたい。それぞれ料金は必要だけど、洗剤は無料で置いててくれてます。ありがたい。各2台ずつありました。刑務所を模った内装も楽しい。個人のポッド内にUSBのコンセントが一つあり。そこに小さな棚もあります。スタッフの方も親切でとても良い滞在ができました。 "
