「Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.」

「Easy to find and had plenty of parking when I arrived. Communication for check in and check out was very good. The ensuite room was great - very clean, nice temperature, and very well-appointed. The lodge does not offer breakfast or dining but is just a 5 minute walk into the city centre. Overall it was great value - can highly recommend and would return. 」

「First time at this hotel, staying for one night. A quick visit to Tiverton on the way home from a few days in Bideford to see the Grand Western Canal and assess the potential for a future longer visit. Overall, facilities, food and staff excellent, decor a little tired. Free parking on site a major advantage. Room comfortable, but no USB ports provided to charge phones etc. However, will definitely consider coming back at a later date. 」

「Hotel was well run and the chef kindly cooked some food of mine due to numerous dietary restricttions, and did it beautifully. Dog was welcome and much kindness shown to both of us. Would highly recommend particularly to solo travellers or those with dog.」

「We stayed in the garden suite. It was lovely. My only criticism would be that one of the legs on the futon in the living room area was broken. Our Daughter said the bed in the smaller bedroom wasn't very comfortable so we used spare duvets and a blanket to make it more comfortable. The small garden area was ideal for our dogs to be able to give them some space to toilet etc. The food in the pub was very nice, my only criticism would be the lack of vegetarian options. Overall we enjoyed our stay....
