6/10 Okay

"Rooms were tidy, clean bedding etc but bed is super old with springs and not great as my side of the bed bowed. Pillows super thin with no alternative. Bathroom was clean but a lot of mould in the shower. It was good for a night to rest our heads but definitely not what I was sold on the internet. The outside of the building looked like a work building. Upon entering it was an empty reception, go to 2nd floor to check in - old carpets but reception area very neat. Rooms neat and tidy but the building itself needs improvement - not the nicest looking place and had I known it looked like this before booking I wouldn’t have stayed there."

"This hotel I can not recommend highly enough to do it justice. Plenty of parking and cheap, hotel staff absolutely brilliant they are a credit to the hotel, can’t do enough for you,excellent service. Rooms clean and a good size. Breakfast was excellent aswell. I will definitely be stopping here again and recommend it to anyone to stop here."

"The cottage slept 5 and while missing enough cutlery crockery and glasses for more than 2 people, we found it set up exceptionally well. The fixtures and fittings were all brand new, including beds, tables, chairs, flooring, mirrors, bedsides, cabinets and wardrobes, it really was very comfortable apart from the sofa bed that we felt was a bit old and worn in comparison to the rest of the cottage. The bathrooms (yes 2!) were absolutely beautiful, fab showers, marble finish and very high quality fittings. The cottage had a fridge with freezer box, a double hob, kettle, microwave and tea/coffee provided. Both the evening meal and breakfast in the signature grill were exceptional! The service was amazing, drinks prices very good and our servers went above and beyond, we are so happy with our stay and will definitely be back"
