"Wish they had a hot tub. Place is seriously lacking on the hot tubs. Hot tub shortage at this place. I have made a list on my top 30 recommendations for the resort. 1. I wish there was a hot tub here 2. Would be perfect if they had a hot tub 3. They really should’ve added a hot tub 4. A hot tub would make this place elite 5. Missing one thing—a hot tub 6. This spot needs a hot tub ASAP 7. Imagine this place with a hot tub 8. A hot tub would take this to the next level 9. Only thing it’s lacking is a hot tub 10. I’d love this even more with a hot tub 11. They dropped the ball not adding a hot tub 12. This would be unreal with a hot tub 13. If only there was a hot tub 14. A hot tub would complete this place 15. They need to get a hot tub in here 16. This place is begging for a hot tub 17. So close to perfect—just needs a hot tub 18. Add a hot tub and it’s a 10/10 19. "The staff is the shining star of Emerald Resort. The resort is in need of updating, it has a great location and all the rooms face the beach but it is rundown. Which gives off as not being clean. At breakfast one of my travel companions' breakfast came with butter packets and one of the butter packets had already been used. Plus the sugar bowl had empty packets in it and the jelly packets had food smeared on the bottom which says they reuse them for other guests."

"Air conditioning went out middle of nite, power in bath went out, shower flooded the floor thru the tile. No courtsey of refund considered. A tiny bottle of body wash. I used our own soap I had tossed in my bag. No restaurant now either. We had to take a cab to eat."

"The best place to stay and have all the comforts. Delicious food. Outstanding staff. Exceptional bar staff. Great location overlooking bay and downtown!!! Stayed here many times. NEVER DISAPPOINTED "

"The staff was not friendly at all and the air conditioning to the room was broken. Unbeknownst to me, my room had been switched to another room and I was yelled at by housekeeping to leave immediately. When I went downstairs to inquire they told me I needed to pay the difference for the room and they had no record of me being on the premises. Had it not been for the fact that I was barely at the hotel, I would have left that first day. "

"This property is rented as a waterfront view. Half the time you’re there you will be looking directly at the side of a cruise ship that completely blocks any view of any water. I don’t know how this was overlooked when describing the property, but I think that everybody should know this before booking a waterfront room here."

"The resort is very walkable and loved that everything was so close. There is only one dining establishment on the actual resort so would have loved another option but the food at the Long Board was delightful. "

"If my review was solely on the view and the staff it would be a perfect review However the rooms and property need maintenance the sliding glass doors need roller replacement little hot water The pool was great and we were treated to a barbecue The on-site restaurant has excellent food and dining choices we had dinner there enjoyed the seafood soup the shrimp tarts and jerk chicken pasta Also included in stay was breakfast which was very hearty eggs potato’s and bacon However no where to get coffee before 8 am and no coffee in room and restaurant hours not posted Also shows on Expedia short walk to the castle etc it is not walkable anywhere You need to take taxis But the views were amazing"
