Perfect cabin for 2
This cabin was perfect for 2 of us. Everything was clean and well kept. Easy to find right off Hwy 2 and easy access to East Glacier and Two Medicine area. Rainy and cold for 2 nights-that was a bummer but the gas fireplace was perfect for it. We enjoyed our stay!

Great stay in the woods
Two couples enjoyed our three nights on this property. Quiet and peaceful! The place was clean and came as advertised. Great experience. We did ask the owner to check the coffee maker. It made coffee but was very slow. The property gives access to both the West Glacier and St Mary entrances to Glacier NP. We discovered the St Mary entrance was less congested than West Glacier, so appreciated the flexibility to use either entrance.

Great vacation and the pictures of the cabin do not do it justice. From the house you were surrounded by woods with no other cabin in sight. We cooked and ate every meal at the cabin for the week. Perfectly located between both West and East Glacier.

We had no problem finding the cabin and loved it as soon as we seen it.Secluded back off main road in a quiet neighborhood with privacy.Great firepit area but we couldn't use it due to fire restrictions. It was still great hanging out on the back deck.No cell service or wi-fi was not a problem for my wife and I we would have it on way to east or west glacier.Great base for exploring east or west glacier, very clean,we loved our stay!

Very nice cabin, other than coffee maker needs replaced, it was extremely noisy and took 30 minutes to make a pot of coffee. Very unfriendly neighbor/ cleaning lady. A little hard to find once off main road, vegitation needs to be trimmed! No cell service or Wifi so you are definitely unplugged. Hard to figure out using tv, 3 remotes and no directions! Very beautiful, well kept cabin.

Cabin in the Woods
This home was truly beautiful. The wood working of the staircase, table, chairs and bed posts was amazing workmanship. The place was spotless and everything was in good working order. A top class place for sure. It had a nice view of the mountain out the one bedroom window and in the back outside. The deck had a robins nest above and we got to watch the robin sit on her nest as the babies were hatching. A real neat experience. The Lodgepine trees in the back yard were awesome. We love the outdoors and nature. There is a stream that runs along the backside of the property and you could hear it bubbling in the evening as we sat around the fire. The only issue we had was, that is was stated wood was available for our use but the wood really was unusable. It was not split and the axe provided had a broken handle and the saw was too dull to cut anything. The wood chunks were too big to fit in the ring provided. We drove an hour into Columbia Falls and bought a new axe and saw and split up a bunch of wood, which we left most of for the next person. We really liked sitting around the campfire in the evenings and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, but it was difficult to have a fire at all until we split the wood provided into smaller usable chunks. My recommendation would be to offer a new, quality axe for splitting wood or have the wood split already. Oh also, many people were writing it was hard to find. We found it very easily. It's well marked and the directions were good.

Lovely cabin in the woods
We loved the wild flowers around the cabin and the birds were singing every morning and evening. A robin had her nest with 3 baby birds in it under the eave above the back porch. We didn't see any large wildlife, but a curious squirrel tried to visit until the mama robin chased it away. So relaxing without the interuption of cell phones.

This property was hard to find. There is no cell service in that area, so we had to go back 15 miles to be able to call someone. We, of course, couldn't access our map, and there was no clear address sign to ensure we were at the right place. Other than that, I would give it the best review! It is clean, well-appointed, very cute, too! VERY secluded!

Great cabin; great location
This property was very clean and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and it’s convenient to both sides of Glacier NP. A minor complaint - they need to stock more toilet paper. We had 1 1/2 rolls for 5 people for 7 days. 👀 We had to buy our own, which was fine but for what you pay, please ensure essentials are stocked well!! Only other recommendation is that property manager use free and clear detergent to wash towels and bedding. Our family has allergies to perfumed detergent and my poor child broke out all over his face. We had to spend hours rewashing bedding with our own soap which took away from fun time. Tip for anyone renting out properties, please always use perfume free detergent for the good number of us that suffer with allergies. It’s an amazing spot with an amazing forest view through floor to ceiling windows. We’d stay again! And loft is great space for kids.

Directions could be better but perfect cabin in the woods
The directions were confusing as the sign mentioned wasn’t there and there is a street sign (Giefer Creek) but that wasn’t in the directions. The first No Trespassing is on a red pole while the second sign is the yellow one we were looking for. The cabin itself was super clean with a comfy mattress. The kitchen had everything we needed and the decor was perfect. We loved staying in this cabin in the woods and having no cell service helped us relax even more.

We stayed at this cabin while visiting Glacier Park. Although outside the park, it was a quieter and less congested place to go to after the busy days! Very clean and everything there and works great! We also took the recommendation of the owner to visit Snowy Springs Outfitters. We did and day fishing trip and it was the best day or our trip!!! Highly recommend this location!!

Great Cabin but proximity to park is misleading
Before I scare anyone off, the cabin was great. The cabin itself is as advertised. It is clean, nice and remodeled/looks new. The location as advertised is somewhat deceiving. We used this cabin as a launch to Glacier National Park. The listing leads you to believe that you're within minutes of the park by saying "Glacier Park entrance only 15 miles away at East Glacier." This isn't true. In reality Two Medicine entrance, which is a very limited area, was approximately 45 minutes away. The St Mary entrance (east end of Going to the Sun Road) due to road conditions and speed limit (25mph) was closer to 90 minutes and the West Glacier Entrance (west end of Going to the Sun Road) was close to an hour drive. We ended up driving 100-200 miles every day we were there just getting in and out of the park to get to a trailhead. Had we realized the cabin was actually located further away than we were led to believe, we would have looked closer to the park. That being said, the cabin itself was great. It was clean, everything in it was nice. It is even nicer in person than in the pictures. We saw 2 mule deer in the back during the little amount of time we were there. The only heads up about the cabin I would give is the 2 shower heads in the bathroom are nice but it is the equivalent of 2 people showering at the same time...so you will run out of hot water quickly! The towels also smelled weird and were partially bleached out. They didn't smell dirty but they smelled strange (musty?) and I wouldn't call that "luxury". My lower rating on the check in process and communication with property owner is due to the fact that I emailed the property owner ahead of time about the check in process and never received a response. Once you're at the cabin you don't get cell phone signal and the name of the road you turn onto from the highway is different than what's listed in the directions that are provided (as provided by the owner email states "Forest Service road", Google maps states "Slippery Bill Road", in actuality it is marked on Hwy 2 as "Giefer Creek Road" and you are quickly met with a "Private Road" sign leading you to think you can't drive up it - luckily we bumped into some neighbors walking who were familiar with 2 VRBOs on the road). It is definitely a nice cabin and worth the cost to be out in the wilderness to relax, but maybe not if you don't want a long drive to get in and out of Glacier NP.

Peaceful and private cabin
This cabin was wonderful! We used it for 6 days as home base for our trip to Glacier National Park. It is located in between the east and west entrances so we could easily access both sides of the park without relying on the busy Going to the Sun road (which happened to not be fully open anyway during our stay in July due to late season snow). Cabin was clean and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Great for our family of 5. The pictures do not do it justice…it is a beautiful place with a wall of windows overlooking a forested backyard. Cabin was stocked with all of the necessities…soap, paper products, insect repellent and bear spray, and all the kitchen essentials to cook at the cabin. We did not get cell reception, but enjoyed being unplugged for our stay. Would definitely recommend this place.
