「Absolutely wonderful stay! The B&B was charming, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, but what truly stood out was the breakfast — hands down one of the best we have ever had. 「He been to the BGL twice in the last month and have enjoyed both stays. First hotel I’ve been to that has no reception or staff in general, with keys and information left on a table on the way in. No matter though, I’m there to sleep and shower and that’s about it! 「Our stay at Victorian House was really nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful and our room was very pleasing. The interiors of the house are beautifully curated and we particularly enjoyed being so well located with parking and the lovely breakfast we were served. The only thing that would improve the stay would be new tvs in the rooms but this is minor. We're very much looking forward to returning, excellent stay and great value for money.」

「Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.」
