"This place is a basic motel, clean and serviceable for an overnight stay, but not very pleasant to hang out in. It does not look as nice as the photos online. The desk staff was friendly. The positives are that the location in Grass Valley is convenient and the price is very reasonable compared to many of the lodgings in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area."

Music players were a fun addition (the old school radio was a hit a with our 9 y/o). Stargazing was stellar! Overall a very cute rustic cabin.Things that could be better: Beds were very uncomfortable and none of us got a good night sleep. Dining table and chairs didn’t work for our small family (we did clean off the patio table and ate outside). Lacking some basic necessities. No screens on windows so we had big wasps? hornets? join our stay inside the cabin. "
