「I would not recommend staying at this property. The listing photos do not accurately convey how close the cabin is to a busy road. Traffic noise from cars and trucks was clearly audible inside the cabin throughout our stay.We had booked an eight-night stay but left after the first night because of the noise. Around 5:00 a.m., a garbage truck emptied the dumpster located just a few feet from the cabin, which woke us up and reinforced our decision to leave. We tried calling the host multiple times...

「We really enjoyed our stay at Tahoe Sierra. The property was very clean — honestly, one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed in, including much more expensive rentals. The floors, furniture, bathroom, and bedding were all very clean. There were plenty of fresh towels and toilet paper, and the beds and linens were clean, white, and fresh. The kitchen was also very well equipped. The dishes were clean and in great condition, with no chips or cracks, and there were plenty of pots, pans, and...

「We stayed here 3 nights. We have a dog so it was great to stay at a dog friendly house. Kitchen is well stocked with all the pots, pans, bowls etc you would need to cook anything. Remember though you are in bear country, I would not let children or pets out back unsupervised. We had a bear visitor on our first morning. It was exciting. I took some pics of him at the dining room window. Centrally located for places to visit in Lake Tahoe!」

We have never stayed at such a relaxing hotel. There were many hotels with the Hilton name, so at first we went to the wrong place, but we are truly glad we came here.
The room was spotless and had a warmth that made it feel just like home. We instantly fell in love with this hotel.
