We like the town and the sea front facilities, having visited before, and the tram connecting Alicante to so many coastal locations. So, we booked this apartment or 5 weeks, January and February 2023 after reading reviews.
What a wonderful holiday! The apartment has views over the Mediterranean to the south and east, is only 30 metres from the clean, sandy beach and, at this time of year, has wall to wall sunshine from dawn till dusk on the totally private balcony. It’s a penthouse apartment on the 4th floor with lift access and private car park facilities.
The apartment is at the very south side of the building, with locked door, very secure access, and is clean, tidy and well maintained.
The sunrise was totally different every morning, and quite spectacular most mornings.
The area is very quiet and well kept, but restaurants and supermarkets are very close along mainly pedestrianised areas, and the Marina is only about a 15 minute walk away. Several good Italian, Spanish and Chinese restaurants are within easy reach of the apartment plus bars and Valor, the chocolate bar/café. Supermarket Mercadona is only 3 minute walk away, the major store TEDi is on the ground floor, and a bakery is 1 minute walk away, also selling water and milk.
The apartment is very well equipped, warm in winter, clean and modern, with a nice modern kitchen having all facilities, plus a large lounge with flat screen TV (many international channels), and fast Wi-Fi.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, love the apartment, think El Campello is wonderful, and hope to be back soon.
