Be mindful that it is above a bar in a busy area so you can hear people singing on the streets at all hours, especially on the weekends. Staff were very quick to answer any queries (we had to ask for a spare blanket as the one on our bed was barely wide enough to cover the bed, let alone two people. "Place was clean, a bit cramped. The French door onto the street was very difficult to close, and the convection stove top didn't work. I didn't realize that the flat was in the heart of Madrid's Zona Rosa, with a few busy bars on the same block, including one right downstairs. My weekend rental was marred by shouting and loud singing, in the street and in neighbouring apartments, till after 1 am. I wouldn't stay here again."
