「Deer Harbor is Awesome! And the Deer Harbor Inn is a great place to stay! Once we had the key code for our room we found a cozy, inviting environment. We turned on the fireplace/heater and warmed it up. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well lit. The parking was right behind the building and we could see our car from our room which was nice.」

「Unique hotel with some quirks. Great location, walkable to downtown and all the restaurants. Staff is friendly and responsive. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We stayed in a room that had a shared bathroom; and it seemed like quite a few of the rooms were sharing. One of the showers has not very much room and the curtain really hugs you.」

We were also woken early by guests in the room next door who entertained guests on the porch and took chairs from our porch without regard for us in the room next to them. 「Only a quick overnight, but they took dogs. Higher priced, and much nicer than what we needed, but would go back anytime. Spent a lot of time in Friday Harbor over decades, and never knew this place was there. Off season, so hard to guess what like in high season, but excellent experience. 」
