"Everything was as advertised. Staff ( Vincent) was courteous & got us into the room quickly. Pool was clean & cold. Hot tub was hot. Bed comfortable. Would return here. Surrounding area was magnificent. Didn't know there was so much to do."
The Ranch at Death Valley – Inside the Park

"We loved our stay at The Ranch. I am glad we chose to stay here instead of at The Inn. At The Ranch there were more eating options, shopping and the cottages were wonderful. The general store is supplied with frozen food options and stocked fairly well for you to eat in the cottage if you did not want to go to one of the restaurant options. We ate at the buffet several times, the Saloon and several times at the Ice Cream shop. The food at the Saloon was wonderful and prices were descent for the property. You have to try the Date Ice Cream, it was wonderful. My only issue was with the washer/dryer combo. First, I had a hard time figuring out how to work it. Then when I did it literally took at least 4.5 hours to complete the full cycle. I then tried another load of just washing and then putting on the dry setting and it was no shorter. Every staff member we encountered was so helpful and I enjoyed talking to the associates in the stores, learning where they were from and what all parks, they had worked in."

"Room was very spacious, clean, modern decor and bathroom, quiet, and nice Mountain View. Walking distance to the Mammoth Village and shuttle bus."
Shilo Inns Mammoth Lakes

"Very friendly staff and a nice room. Free parking and breakfast. Highly recommend! On going construction did not bother us at all. We got a room that was mostly refurbished and it was beautiful as well as big. A few minor things still need to be done but, again, did not bother us."

"This hotel is truly an oasis. We enjoyed our stay very much. My only concern was that the dining room had set hours so if you miss lunch at 2 at both locations you are stuck with the ice cream shop who has a very limited menu. Perhaps the locations should overlap so that one is open to 3."
Mammoth Mountain Inn

"Staff was great, especially Jasmine. She's a real gem that warms and lights the place up. Rooms are a little worn, as one might expect for a ski resort, but its time for some refreshing."
