"Mildly rustic, but if you’re like me, that’s a plus. Very charming and cinematic hotel, with large, comfy rooms, for a very reasonable price. I was in the Robert “Sheriff Longmire” Taylor room (big fan of the show). I only wish I could have stayed in the “Cohen Brothers” room across the hall!"

"Hotel is located at the entrance of Carlsbad Caverns. Restaurant next door closes at 3pm. 12 minutes from Carlsbad, NW. Bed was comfy and clean. Pool was clean."

"Honestly one of the better hotels on our trip. My daughter was sad about the pool being down for remodeling, which we didnt find out till we got there. A little disappointed in that but overall a good stay."

"Had a very nice, spacious room with a “fainting couch”. Clean bathroom and refreshing shower. Hotel was easy in/out and back on the road. Breakfast buffet was great with something for everyone. Protein, fruit, sweet treats, waffles, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juice, and more."

"The staff was extremely helpful; offering a first floor room so we wouldn't have to climb the stairs. The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again when in Durango."
