"The breakfast was constantly being topped up by a lady member of staff. She did a good job. The buffet, cereal,fresh fruit, bread, juice area's were kept clean & tidy. Breakfast staff cleared the tables & spoke with guests a nice atmosphere. Yes, we booked a room with a sea view. Very nice spacious room.clean & good shower."

"What a lovely hotel! We loved the different lounge rooms to relax in and plenty of games for children. My parents and my family stayed here with three kids for a family reunion. The location is good. Service is impeccable in the bar. We ate in the restaurant and overall it was nice but Tomahawk Pork was dry and vegetables were very oily. Also Fish of the day was overcooked. However, we were a party of ten and the other meals were excellent. We also had seaside afternoon tea which was fabulous! Would I stay here again? Absolutely. The communal rooms were lovely and comfortable. Kevin was an amazing evening host. Bar staff were amazing and friendly. Cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating. Eastbourne as a destination highly recommend! Our fist time and loved all it has to offer. "

"Fabulous location, clean room and lovely staff. Decor in the room was a bit tired, but it's hard to maintain a property of this age, I guess. Lift was a great feature, too."

"For the price, a decent hotel and nice staff. However, disappointed with the cleanliness of the room - clearly hadn’t been hoovered, and so the carpet was pretty dirty, same around the facilities in the bathroom. Without this issue, it’s a perfect stay for the price - nice people, great location, comfy bed and excellently hot shower"
