"Tried many hotels in Eastbourne. The View is my favourite. Reception Staff really good. Good rooms. Great gym, bar menu needs an overhaul, and a little more excitement. Restaurant isn’t always open, but I find plenty of restaurants close by. Breakfast staff are lovely. "

"We arrived to a friendly greeting and given our key to room 17 on the first floor, the room was large and lovely and warm with a huge bed plus really clean. The hotel is very interesting with lots of different sitting rooms and a bar all filled with original Victorian features plus old cameras and typewriters were amongst the artefacts to look at. All the staff were really friendly and the chap on reception we spoke to on checking out told us all about the history of the hotel and even took time to show us some of the features. Absolute bonus of having its own carpark or free local parking is a must in Eastbourne, the hotel is close to the seafront and the town centre and next to the theatres so a perfect spot for visitors no matter what you are looking for. I would definitely recommend and would return if we come back to Eastbourne."

"Had a fantastic stay at The Landsdowne. Its a old hotel with lots of history. The staff, reception, breakfast and dinner, absolutely brilliant. Tomas, Hannah, Rosa, Dora, to name a few. Our room was spacious. We'll definitely be back. "

"This room was absolutely amazing , so clean and modern . I usually feel on edge in hotel but I felt so comfortable and slept all night as the bed was so comfy , amazing staff and lovely atmosphere. The bath is also amazing . Would definitely recommend easily the best hotel in Eastbourne:) "
