Dogs must be added to the reservation and $200 pet fee paid. Up to two dogs allowed. Please use the crates provided when you are not in the home.
Please be mindful of our garage opener. Lost garage door fee $100 Please be respectful of our private beach access and clean up after yourselves.

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is close to town but far away enough to not be in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The private beach was nice since the beaches in town were pretty crowded.

We enjoyed the location and its proximity to sites we wanted to visit, such as lighthouses, Huron National Forest and the Maritime Sanctuary in Alpena.We enjoyed the beach access, but note that it is across US 23, so there is a little bit of hazard crossing that busy road to get there.

Great time

We had a great time had access to a private beach which was awesome, close to town and by far the best mattresses we ever slept on. The host was great and responded to all my questions quickly. Definitely would stay there again

4th of July stay

We were very pleased with the amenities The host truly thought of everything especially with the age range. The house was very clean. We liked the TV’s in the rooms and large bedroom upstairs. The beach was difficult to find but there are so many beaches around we enjoyed the public beach. Wished the air worked upstairs as it very warm outside.

Golf Weekend

Outstanding!

Our experience at this home was outstanding! So many little details that were appreciated. The linens and towels, etc were high quality and all the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen were labeled. The private Beach area was great and the lake views were perfect. The next time we come to East Tawas, we are certainly going to check the availability of this property!

It was a very nice relaximg stay. The home was fully stocked. All you really need to bring is your clothes. Very nice products in the home. The house its self was large enogh to accommodate the family . Clean,stocked and very nice quiet area. I'd go back amd stay .

Wonderful Gem in East Tawas!

This home was perfect for our family! We had one child, and four adults. We all had the space we needed, along with gathering spaces both inside and out to play games, visit, eat, bonfire, etc. The private beach is maybe a quarter mile down the road, and on the other side of the main road. Once you get there is is absolutely perfect! It’s quiet, the water is great and the wagon and toys they provide for you to bring if you want are a lot of fun! Perfect location for both getting downtown for food or the marina, and in the opposite direction to go into Oscoda for hiking and viewing. We loved our time here and the hosts really thought out all of the details to make sure it’s a great stay!

The cottage had everything we needed. It was immaculately clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the host was helpful. That said, we probably would not stay here again because there was a lot of highway noise from US 23 and we prefer to stay somewhere where we can take walks or ride bikes without having to drive somewhere. The private beach is beautiful and you can walk about a mile down that beach but to get there you have to walk along the highway and that was stressful because of the constant, high speed traffic. We ended up driving to our favorite beaches in East Tawas and Tawas and didn’t use the private beach.

Lovely home

We booked this house three months prior, and then my mom went downhill fast due to Alzheimer's. I was her main caregiver... with her through it all until the end. She passed away while I was here. I wanted to be at the lake. I was glad for the few hours I could spend there.
