Main Street Motel

"My husband and I just came back from a two night stay. We loved everything about our room. The location was convenient. When the details say it’s a 3 min walk into the shops, they’re not kidding. Plenty of parking for those who are staying there. The room was very clean. The cleanliness of a bathroom is a big deal to me and it was very clean. Plenty of towels for the two of us for our stay. Never had to request more. They supplied you with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar of soap, cotton swaps, nail files, cotton balls, and make up wipes. They had a blow dryer, ironing board (which was in good condition, not stained like others I’ve seen), and an iron. In the main office you can get complimentary water, coffee ( which smelt delicious!), oatmeal cups, popcorn, yogurt, and some other items. The help at the front desk was very kind. We would definitely stay again."

"My husband and I fell in love with this property! It was an unexpected amazing property! I don’t remember looking at the rooms when we booked our one night but we could stay a week! Roomy, clean, and you felt like you were visiting family. Highly recommend and on our next trip we will be booking this property for longer than one night!"

"We would have appreciated some type of simple breakfast items to go with the coffee bar area in the check in area. Maybe a bowl of apples and a tray of wrapped granola bars... or bags of trail mix and some bananas. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast at the restaurant where the food was great, the service was excellent and the views were superb."

"This is a basic property and perfect for having a safe and clean place to lay your head after a day of hiking in Acadia National Park. It’s set on the water (Atlantic Ocean) … no beach…. Looks like a lake because of all the little islands)…and during low tide, you’ll see people out on the ocean floor digging for clams). Staff is helpful… beds are okay…. Good hot water for showers. No microwave and bathroom vanity space is small. There were two of us sharing. Like they say…. Location matters and this property is right on the scenic road to take you to Acadia National Park. We very much enjoyed the Farmstand Coffee House for breakfast every day… 5 minutes down the road."

"The property was very clean and close to Acadia, which was convenient! The property definitely could be upgraded, but it’s still in great condition and clean! Our dogs loved it and they have an area for them to take care of their business! The gentleman at the front was very warming and offered us advice on where to go and what to do in Acadia! Highly recommended!"
