「The home’s proximity to Bar Harbor and various points of interest in the park itself was great. I only wish we had more time to explore the quiet side. Owner was very responsive and the home was immaculate and thoughtfully appointed. The road noise was not a problem with fans running at night and the windows closed. I would worry about the bedrooms being hot during warmer months, but I would love to return in the Fall sometime!」

「This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. 」

「Great place for our needs. 」

「Located within easy walking distance to town of Southwest Harbor and an easy drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia park. Zane had good communication with us.」

「The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia.」

「Our grown children who live in neighboring states met us in Maine for a long weekend together. The house has lots of vintage charm and a welcoming soul. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were the perfect size for our group. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable.
