「This is an idyllic, quiet, adults only hotel. The rooms are lovely and modern with air conditioning. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the 4 course a La carte dinner is outstanding with lots of choice and variety. The location is right on the white Sandy beach with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend. 」

「Vi hade en underbar vistelse under 5 nätter. All service man kan tänka sig. Underbart god och varierad mat. Personalen gjorde allt de kunde för att vi skulle få äta våra måltider på fler underbara platser. Generöst och privat boende, perfekt för avkoppling och par. We ended up using a taxi taking us to other places to eat. Expect bout 10 minutes by car to some good restaurants. 「'12/12/24-26とカップルで宿泊。20組程が泊まれそうなリゾートホテル。マテムエのビレッジは完全にタンザニアの田舎街でしたがホテルのゲート内はこじんまりとまとまり、のんびりとしたリゾート。 庭の手入れが行き届き、花と緑、バナナなどが植えられて良い雰囲気を醸し出します。ウニに注意する必要がありますが、干潮時には海だったところを遠くまで散歩できます。水中眼鏡があればサンゴや熱帯魚を観察できます。海用のシューズと水中メガネはメンテナンスに多用難がありますがホテルで無料で貸し出しています。 食事はB&Bでの宿泊でしたが、ビレッジにはレストランが無いため必然的にすべてホテル内で取りました。夕食USD30、昼食10USD+お酒といった感じで、内容とのバランスは十分満足の行くものでした。 部屋のシャワーはカーテンもドアも無い解放的なもので、好みが分かれるところかもしれません。」

「We enjoyed our stay at the Le Mersenne and loved the detail and design of the room. Well appointed. The service was great, location is close to Paje Beach and the Treehouse Restaurant but also far from Stone Town and other popular beaches so plan to either book a driver or rent a car. We booked a scooter thru the hotel and traveled to Paje. DJ played great music at the hotel. We loved the vibe! With that said, a few things to be noted … Limited food options and we grew bored of the pricey...

「ホテルの部屋はコテッジタイプとコンドミニアムタイプの両方があり、どちらもプライバシーが守られています。ビーチはすぐそこなので、散歩するもよし、その他のアクティビティの数も多いので、ここにいるだけで別世界の楽園を楽しめます。ストレス解消にぴったりですね。Inclusiveというスタイルなので、食事もすべて含まれています。私たちは、どこかにでかける可能性もあったので、昼食だけ外したHalf Boaｒdという方式でしたが、結局ホテルの食事が美味しすぎて、ホテルで実費で食事をしました。おすすめは、やわらかくてスパイシーな海鮮タコのサラダ（ココナッツオイルで炒めてある）です。ザンジバルは今、マラリアの心配はないそうですが、夜の食事をしている間に、ベッドに蚊帳をおろしてくれて、殺虫剤を散布してくれました。ただし日本人客はほとんどいないようなので、英語かドイツ語かスワヒリ語ができる人向きです。言葉に自信のない人には、あまりお薦めできません。」
