「This is such a wonderfully old and beautiful pub, with restaurant and great rooms. The few rooms they have are all named so you know which room you will be getting when you book. We had the Gold Room and it was so lovely! A lady behind the bar greeted us and showed us to our room. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant menu looked amazing but we.had promised ourselves fish and chips on the beach. The beach was a few minutes walk from the The Ship Inn so it was a perfect...

「Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost.」

「Super friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they don’t. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!」

「We were given a warm welcome. An ideal place to stay before we crossed The Channel - only 10mins from Le Shuttle. Our room was very clean and comfortable. A shared bathroom might not suit everyone. For us, everything met our needs. We would very happily stay at Cherry Garden BnB again.」

The gardens are extensive, with loungers and nice seating areas. This place is not obvious from the road and we drove past twice due to a satnav error, but it’s well worth finding!」
