Good price, great central location with large car park, very good breakfast and all the staff were really nice and helpful. It’s an old building so it is a bit dated in parts but it was clean and comfy. The central staircase is beautiful and you don’t get workmanship like that nowadays. Very handy location if you are taking a Happy Bus to a gig in Edinburgh - right next to the pick up point.

The hotel was a bit dated but perfect for our father/daughter golf trip. The twin beds were comfortable each night! I like the location and the parking easy to drive to and well situated as a base.

Room was clean and comfy, however we arrived, keys didn’t work, I booked a twin room, but it was a double, told no twins were available,when in the first room, the window wouldn’t shut, so we were moved to a smaller room. Continental breakfast was terrible, consisted of ham, beef, cream cheese, initially no bread, but some was brought (sliced)and pastries came, when we were finished, coffee when it arrived was like tar. Staff were friendly and helpful

We had a really good stay Our room was spacious and we had a great view of the V&A and waterfront. Plenty of towels. Nice tea/coffee tray with biscuits. Enough easily accessible plug points to charge devices. Check-in was quick and efficient with all relevant information given. We had breakfast on our second morning and it was a normal, good hotel breakfast and the price was reasonable. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We would especially like to compliment the lady who was on shift in bar Friday and Saturday nights (I am sorry I don't know her name but she has blue hair). She looked after us really well and, also, took great pride in her work.
