「No serving bowls. No extra linens (blankets). Bulb was flickering but I couldn’t find extra bulbs. One kitchen chair was not sturdy. No facecloths. Vents and ceiling fan were black (even black going up wall. It was a beautifulPlace and a great location. With a little TLC this would be a great place. No trouble to get ahold of owner. Not convenient for wheelchair as you need to walk a short distance on gravel. 」

"宿泊日の1週間前に部屋の無料アップグレードのご提案をいただき、素敵な部屋に宿泊させていただきました。スタッフはとても親切に、色々相談に乗っていただき、感謝しています。私はBC コネクトバスを利用してバンクーバー空港から直接ビクトリアに来ましたが、ビクトリアのバス停からちょっと歩きますが、徒歩でホテルまで来れます。また、街の中心まで徒歩圏内なので、観光など色々便利です。初めてホテル建物を見た時はかなり驚きました。昔の貴族の館を改装したような外観で周囲の建物を含めて、外装も内装も素敵でした。朝食はアメリカのホテルよりはちょっと良い感じでした。"

"I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing. When I checked in, I was told that I could check out at 1 pm, and there was no explanation about any additional fee. However, on the day of checkout I received a call saying that I would need to pay $80 for a late checkout. I explained that I had been told 1 pm was okay and that no extra charge had been mentioned, but I was still told that I needed to pay. Paying $80 for just one hour of late checkout felt quite expensive. The room was also quite cold, and the hot water was only lukewarm during my stay. I think clearer communication from the staff would help avoid this kind of confusion for future guests."
