9.2/10 Wonderful! (2,684 reviews)
The Union Hotel is in a perfect location to visit the CN tower, Ripleys Aquarium, the railway museum, restaurants, etc. it’s also only a 5 minute walk from Union railway station for trains to the airport. The hotel is well appointed, very nice inside, felt safe and secure, and had good amenities. The toilets off the reception area can only be accessed by car key and were very clean. Also off reception was the Humble Donkey bistro. As we had booked breakfast included in our 2 night stay that’s where we ate in the mornings. The menu was good and the food very tasty. The Humble Donkey is open to the public too and had a buzz about it on our first night. The hotel room was comfortable, with a good bed and nice bathroom. If we were visiting Toronto again I would be happy to stay at this hotel.

8.4/10 Very Good! (1,735 reviews)
"There are better stays at comparable prices in the area, I wouldn’t return here. The hotel is dated (except for the lobby), so difficult to get into the parking, charged extra for the parking, no towels in the pool area, empty water carafes in the lobby, and the room bathroom is tiny. Nothing terribly ..."

"A very enjoyable stay in the heart of Kitchener. Parking is not included but the municipal parking directly outside the window was helpful. So quiet despite being right downtown. The heat pump is genius, and we appreciated the AC so much when it was in the 30's over the weekend. Comfortable bed, ..."
