"I gave our stay three out of five. The place is just okay. It is spacious and the twin beds were comfortable. Being a very old home it is quirky with the kitchen on the bottom floor, living on the next floor and bedrooms at the top. Unfortunately, also due to the age there is a sewer smell in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped except for dish towels and paper towel. Also no shower soap or shampoo. The location is fine, but while we were there the town was having their annual festival which made parking challenging. The internet is weak. Check-in was at 5pm as with a pleasant nearby vendor who provided the key. "
"Host was very responsive, site was well equipped, you could have baked a cake! Lots of info. Check in info was abundant although we did not a few troubles finding the key and unit. I think the Canadian interpretation of floors and verandahs added some confusion, but my daughter saw it as an adventure and we got in fine. Everything you need was there. We hit a heat wave of 35 however and there was no AC or night cooling so the unit was 30celcius a few nights. Otherwise it was lovely. Found the mattress protector also held the heat.Would absolutely recommend to anyone to stay here, the view was incredible, the patio inviting and great for coffee or dinners, the space calm and cozy with lovely local neighbors. And those beams!!!!Loved walking the old walls of the town. "
"This little apartment gave us a wonderful one-month experience. It is located right in the center of the village, among the bakery, the meat market, the church, and several eateries. The surroundings are beautiful and very quiet--with only the church bells breaking in on the hour. François and Marie were wonderful hosts, eager to help in any way.
