「What a gem! Calm water, crabs everywhere, porpoises out the window. It is a classic Canadian cabin, just like in lake country, except without the mosquitoes but with salmon right outside. We managed to get there in a small open boat (our big one was out of commission) by doing a deal with nearby April Pt Marina.」

「Our family of 7 and dogs had a fabulous Island getaway. You cannot beat the views. Situated right on the ocean, we spent our mornings walking the beach, our nights in the hottub looking up at the stars and our days hiking Elk Fall trails. Situated 10min away from town, we had access to grocery stores. What we liked was the layout. There is one bedroom suite downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs including another Master. This was great for us as we had a teething baby. Everyone got their rest....

「We were in Powell River to attend my grandsons final minor hockey tournament (U18 Stars) and couldn’t have selected a better place to stay! Jenn & Sean were great hosts and our accommodations were the Best. With early morning rises and many trips back and forth to the rink, we felt right at home with the comfy beds, stunning views and everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. So grateful we had such a lovely place to unwind from the long days! Without a doubt would recommend ~ these...

「This is an absolute beautiful spot on the river. Our 3 night stay was wonderful especially the bear watching as well as all the other birds and fish visible from your living room windows. The first day we had a mother bear and 3 cubs come down to the other side of the river to eat some salmon that were swimming in the water. The beds were very comfortable and it was really nice having a sink and toilet off of the master bedroom. This unit is on the top floor which was fine for us however...

「The entire house is well equipped and with the fireplace at the beach just perfect. Restaurants, shopping centers are close to the house ( Walmart (5min drive). Since the hosts are living near the house you will get all answers to your questions or even recommendations for local activities. Great location-you have to stay here if you want the best in town.」
