The Canopy was the perfect fit for our multi-generational Spring Break. The home was immaculate and cozy. The host thought of needs we didn't know we would have.The location was convenient for day trips and outings. Marilyn was a fantastic host. My wife and I had a great time celebrating our anniversary here, complete with a snow storm. This was a great place to get snowed in. Very comfortable and clean. We would love to stay here again with our family next time.

The host was amazing and "Johnny on the spot." Unfortunately, the HVAC went out the day we were to arrive. But the host jumped on the problem and the house was more than warm and cozy for our stay in spite of the 17 degree temperatures. Also want to note that the house was clean, beds were comfortable, and if you plan to cook like we did, it has EVERYTHING and then some that you might need.

Marilyn was so kind and accommodating from start to finish. Our stay was so last minute and yet she made everything work perfectly! The Canopy has everything you would ever need and is much more beautiful than the pictures could possibly portray. The gas outdoor fire pit is a nice addition and perfect for making s’mores (which we did). The place also has an indoor sauna, an elliptical machine, and other exercise equipment should one feel so inclined. Sky Valley is one of our favorite places partly because it is just minutes from Highlands, Dillard, Mountain City, Waterfalls, nice restaurants, hiking, etc. We love staying in places where things are not just attractive, but are clean, and comfortable. The Canopy is all that and more! We are looking forward to a return visit!

The Host is so accommodating and genuinely kind. She made sure our stay was perfect in every way possible. The views are beautiful, the entire home is built for comfort and we also loved cooking on the high end gas stove and oven. We would have stayed longer if we didn't need to get back to the real world. We will deffinately be coming back! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

This was a very nice and clean getaway in the mountains. We loved everything about it! I didn't realize Sky Valley was in a great location either, but it's close to Highlands, Dillard and Franklin. And also it's very close to Otto, which has a good Thai restaurant with boba tea. There's also a pickleball court about a mile away where we played as a family and loved it. Very happy with Marilyn and The Canopy!

Such a cozy home. We felt right at home. The owner was so nice and accommodating. We had everything we needed. I loved all the pamphlets and books with ideas for hikes, restaurants,waterfalls etc…We would go back!

Family Fun and Relaxation

The Canopy was the perfect spot for my family this Summer. A hidden gem away from the hot, Summer sun but close enough to lots of adventures. My teenage kids, 14 (girl) and 17(boy) had a blast white water rafting, hiking around waterfalls, zip lining and touring the area. The hosts were the absolute sweetest and most accommodating we've ever experienced. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon!

Great place to stay

We stayed at The Canopy for a wedding at The Vineyards at High Holly. It was a great location just minutes away so it made everything so easy to get to. The house is just as pictured and was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely like to come back and visit the area again. Marilyn is very responsive to anything we asked and we felt right at home. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

Cool Weather

We really enjoyed our stay at The Canopy! Home is clean, comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen has everything you need plus some extras. It has plenty of room and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. If we come back to this area, would happily stay here again.

Wonderful Time at The Canopy

Our family loved The Canopy house! We all three of us were constantly saying how wonderful every space indoors and outdoors were! It was very cozy and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and we all slept well. The outdoor spaces were where I spent day time hours when at the house! The front porch was my favorite place for morning coffee as I thoroughly enjoyed the cool temps and listening to the birds! I would definitely stay there again!

Perfect family house!

We loved staying in this house for a long weekend to attend a wedding. We were most impressed with the sleeping arrangements. It’s not everyday you find a VRBO house with amazing beds/mattresses! We slept great at this house! The kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. My daughter left her beloved stuffy behind and the host mailed it to us ASAP. We are so grateful! 10 out of 10 recommend; we would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful property, responsive host!

This host has thought of everything! From the kitchen to the baths, so well-appointed and so clean. Felt like home as soon as we walked in the door. We found the setting to be peaceful as we sat outside in the evenings on either the deck or the screened porch. Also, the host is very responsive and friendly. Would definitely consider staying again next time we are in the area. Beautiful!

Perfect little home base!

We really loved this place! It's in a perfect spot to springboard into any place in Northern GA or WNC withing 2 hours. I loves the uniqueness of having to travel into NC to get to a town in GA! And not to mention there's a giant waterfall 5 min from the house! The master bed is probably the most comfortable bed I've slept on in any VRBO! Check in and check out is a breeze as well! Loved this spot and loves this trip!

Sky Valley trip

Fantastic location!

Wonderful property with fabulous views and the location was perfect to visit surrounding towns and hiking areas. Our host had timely communication and was accommodating for our concerns (weather related). Spacious house with all the comforts of home.
