「We needed a place for one night ,and t was good , Bear river is a small gem in NS」

「The reception was great. It was really busy when we got there, but the lady handled it great. The room itself was ok. There were cob webs, in the corner of the walls, so that obviously gets missed during cleaning. The bathroom was good, except behind the bathroom door where the wall heater is. That hadn't been wiped in a while, and the corner behind the door wasn't done in a while as well. As a previous owner of a Motel in the Moncton NB area, I know how important these little things are. And...

「The entire campground was very sad looking. The dome as soon as you walked in, you were greeted with an overwhelming smell of must. Upon further looking it appears like there was mold along the sides of the dome. The shower had a bunch of hair within it. The TV couldn’t play anything without having to buffer every 2mins. For what the experience was it was grossly overpriced.」

「Stayed here for one night when we went Whale watching. It was a self check in property but the hosts responded very quickly when I asked questions. The actual apartment was a bit dark but it was in the basement so to be expected. There were all the amenities needed which was great as we cooked dinner there that night. It was far from any town so you have to make sure you either bring food or eat before you get there but is very convenient to the East ferry if you are going Whale watching...

「Room had a smell to it but went away after I opened the windows. I think it might be from the air conditioner because it came back when turned on. Someone should check the filter」

「Sid and Alex are excellent hosts. They were very welcoming, and put out a beautiful breakfast for me. Their home is lovely and I very much enjoyed my stay there.」
