"The hotel was very welcoming. It’s a well maintained hotel with a lot of character. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet was well stocked and had a lot of variety. The room was excellent. We had the duplex room and it was very nice to have the sleeping area upstairs and a sitting area with a corner couch downstairs. It even had an old fashioned gaming system! The view from the balcony was beautiful and the whole place had a very peaceful vibe. The only thing it lacked was air conditioning but I understand that isn’t very prevalent in European hotels. We did have the patio door open all night to provide some cooler air and they did provide a stand up fan which helped a lot. I would definitely stay there again though this time I would stay longer!"

"Was worried about the photos of the hotel room but our room was newly updated and there was no carpet so that was a huge relief! The staff here were extremely friendly and we had pizza at the restaurant which was very good. Downsides were there is no air conditioning at this hotel and it was quite warm in our room. Because of this we often left the windows to our patio open, and we could hear quite a bit of ruckus from the area below where the staff entrance to the restaurant was located due to deliveries and the dumpster being located there. Also if you miss the bus (that only comes once an hour) you’ll have to walk to the train station which is all uphill which was a challenge with luggage (don’t miss the bus haha). Breakfast was very average… Otherwise it was a great stay! Thank you for your hospitality!"

"This hotel was excellent from the friendly and professional staff, to the cleanliness and large size of the room. The hotel is right in the middle of Interlaken with a breathtaking view of the park and the Bernese Swiss Alps. I highly recommend this property to all."

"This hotel is the perfect landing spot to explore this beautiful region. Easy access to hiking trails, transportation to other villages and to the iconic mountains. Make sure to spend some at the hotel’s restaurant the Deck, where the friendly staff and delicious food will make you feel like you are in a Hallmark movie. The hotel is not fancy yet it is perfect. Every guest is taken care of with the attention of a 5 star experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
