"This property is a great space to share for a getaway! The details listed were exactly what you find when you step through the door. Everyone in our party highly rated the spaciousness, furnishings, fully stocked kitchen, and beds/pillows. Our host, Adam, was great throughout the process, including the day we arrived – he was available and responded quickly when we had a question. He is a 5-star host!The only thing we struggled with was figuring out how to get to the boat launch/beach. We tried to find it on our own, walking in the rain, but that didn’t work out well! Be sure to ask about that before you arrive. We made the best of our 100% rainy time there by visiting Mystic for great food (S&P Oyster for a lovely meal, and best lobster rolls), and plenty of shopping; Stonington for the Aquarium, and of course, Mohegan Sun (great shopping and smashburgers at Michael Jordan restaurant (MJ23). If you have a sweet tooth, don’t miss Sift Bakery while in Mystic or Mohegan Sun. You will not be disappointed with the area or lovely accommodations!"

The hosts are amazingly responsive and so accommodating. Once all that is combined with the great view of the peaceful lake and inspiring sunrises and sunsets you’ll want to make the cottage at the lake a constant part of vacationing. "

We stayed during freezing days and nights, and everyone stayed comfortable with the copious baseboard heating and thermostats in every room."
